General navigation

The menu bar down the left-hand side is your main navigation tool for moving between dashboards, managing settings and asking for help. You should have the following menu items:

• Cattle Heat Risk - Dashboard with the cattle heat risk forecast, as well as live observations if we have your weather station data integrated.

On the Cattle Heat Risk Dashboard, you can see more data cards by clicking on the arrows at the far left (shows cards for past days) and right (shows cards out to six days ahead).

More data can also be viewed in the detailed table by using the arrows or the scroll bar at the bottom.

• Outlook - Dashboard with forecasted outlook of heatwave and rain risk for the next 14 days.

• Rain Risk - Dashboard with the rain and storm risk forecast.

• Thunderstorm - Dashboard with live radar, weather warnings and BOM station observations.

• RAP - Risk Assessment Profiles to determine risk for specific groups of cattle in your care.

• Cattle Observations - Your recorded cattle observations.

• Settings - Where to go to manage your subscription, add users, update alerts and manage your sites.

• Data Management - View and download past forecast data.

• Contact Us - Send us an email.

• Help Centre - Access to help files, videos and documents.

• Sign Out - Log out of the system.

Anywhere you see a click on it to see more help information.

You can also access the help pages by selecting Help and Resources in the main menu in Kite, or click on the icon in the bottom right-hand corner of any page. If you do this, you can simply ask a question or type in a word and it will provide a list of where to find more information.
