What are the different subscriptions and how do I know what is right for me?

Kite Feedlot Edition has three different levels of subscriptions with varying features to cater to small and large feedlots, ranging from those in regions that need to actively manage heat all summer to those in regions that are less at risk but still need to know if high-risk conditions are developing.

All subscriptions will provide you with sufficient information to allow you to meet your NFAS requirements for Element LM6 to ensure “The likelihood of an Excessive Heat Load event is monitored, and prompt and appropriate remedial action is taken when required.”

  • More accurate AHLU (via site observations) updated as your site data comes in.

  • Undertake a Risk Assessment for all your cattle types and assess the frequency of potential EHL events based on the local climate.

  • Develop your site heat load action plan with the information gained and tools available in Kite.

  • Be alert to impending heat events via SMS alerts

  • Be alert to rapidly changing conditions with SMS alerts from your weather station.
